I designed curtains for a newly-built house in Nara.
All walls in piano room where the client teaches music are surrounded by textile, so that curtain could adjust acourstics. In the double-high space which connected each room in second floor, thin double woven fabrics were used for each room’s privacy.
Woven with metal threads, both curtains slightly keeps its form after touched by the user.
