Three curtains for three windows(H8 x W8m) at Hirakata T-SITE, a bookstore with commercial complex near Osaka. The curtains move with remote controller to protect inside from late afternoon sun, and stored with spiral curtain track when not used. Three different layers of fabrics were used so that the curtains create depth in window side: Semi-transparent grey organza with silver print slightly reflects light from outside on facade, beige plain weave fabric blocks the sunlight, semi-transparent yellow organza shows shadow casted from outer layers.
