Studio Akane Moriyama

Situated in a little island in Stockholm archipelago, the square-shaped house stands with 360 degree panorama view to the ocean where different boats to the Baltic sea frequently pass. For enclosure and controlling the light for the interior space, we created a soft layer with medium-weight silk dyed in “Strindberg Blue” - Color of the cloud before lightning - which August Strindberg often used for his paintings.
